The East African Traditional and Contemporary Immersive Dance Training
This unique opportunity allows participants from all backgrounds to discover and immerse themselves in East African artistic perspectives, connect with heritage and discover the experience of contemporary dance in a dynamic cultural atmosphere. Participants theoretically discover the history and immerse themselves into the basic movements and aesthetics of the chosen traditional dances and their contemporary interpretations, complemented by artistic dialogue sessions and community visits that enrich knowledge of participants from grass roots keepers of these knowledges.
